Darla was found by a Dogs of the 9th Ward volunteer near the interstate in Gentilly. She was scared, emaciated, and absolutely crawling with fleas. Darla had recently had puppies, but there were no puppies around when she was rescued.
Darla has turned into a total love. She adores people and is happy around other animals. She's been boarding at the vet where she's a huge staff favorite. She is dominant with other dogs, but very friendly. Darla is a beautifl two-year-old blue pit bull who will make some lucky family extremely happy.
