Mercy is pending adoption!
Mercy was found in the abandoned Press Park complex in the Desire Area of the 9th Ward. She was scared, had a severe case of demodex and a skin infection, and was underweight. She warmed up to her new life immediately and is now a happy girl -- and her hair is almost entirely grown back in! Mercy is heartworm negative and has now been fully vetted. She loves other dogs and is fine with cats. She is only just one year old and still very playful and puppy-like, so she'll need a family with time to work on manners. Mercy is a very, very small pit mix girl, weighing in at only about 35lbs!
